Let's go to Daragaon...!


Daragaon is a fine place situated near the Indo-Bhutan border in Baksa district of Assam. It is 48 kilometres away from Nalbari bypass and a 15 kilometres ride from district headquarters of Mushalpur.

For adventure and photography aficionados, the ride itself to Daragaon is also a scenic one with never ending landscapes and rugged terrains en route. One can not resist to halt at many spots during the ride to admire the beauty of the nature.

So finally when you reach this delightful place, you will see that the area is surrounded by lush green hills and an exuberant stream. The beautiful skies also provide playful clouds to stare on.

The area falls under the Dihira Reserved Forest of Baksa. The river Diring is the main attraction of this place. Thousands of nature lovers visit this place to indulge in the beauty and calmness of this place.

This place could be a perfect spot for a getaway or retreat from blazing heat in the summer. The scenic view and sparkling waters of this place will surely sooth the eyes and soul.

So if you're planning for a quick summer picnic and you don't want to rush to Meghalaya or Arunachal Pradesh amidst this not-to-mention pandemic, you know just the place!
